Delicious Bites in Morro de Sao Paolo!

When traveling to Morro de Sao Paolo, there is no doubt that your taste buds will be more than tickled during your stay. The city offers one of the most eclectic varieties of gastronomy treats in all of the country. From the delicious traditional Baiana dishes offered at local restaurants, to the Italian pizza and scrumptious Japanese meals, Morro de Sao Paolo has a little bite of heaven for every taste bud. Here is a list of our favorite places to grab a bite:

1. Ponto de Encontro: This fun and brightly colored restaurant features some unique and scrumptious dishes. They also offer a great mix of vegetarian options! .
2. Tia Lita: an absolute favorite thanks to its amazing and inexpensive food, Tia Lita prepares delicious home-cooked grilled fish, chicken and beef. It is also located just off of the beach.
3. Sabor da Terra: This traditional Bahian restaurant serves some of the areas most delicious local food and at an affordable price. Check out their moquecas, picanha na chapa (steak dish) and an all time favorite, their bobo de camarao, amazing prawn stew.
4. Forno a Lenha: Offering good pizza and an even better deal for backpackers and budget travelers, this place dishes up an all you can eat pizza deal that will make your belly full!
5. O Casarao: Offering a view overlooking the main square, this great restaurant offers some of the best seafood in town. The portions serve two people and the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
