3. Mercado Modelo: The main market of the city, this commercial center is filled to the brim with amazing local arts and crafts, as well as a number of bars and restaurants.

4. Convent and Church of Sao Francisco: Considered the most stunning church in all of Brazil, Sao Francisco is ornately decorated and truly a magnificent site to see.

5. Carnival: Running from February 11-16, the Carnival Festival is considered the largest and most amazing celebration of all of the Carnival celebrations! It is truly a spectacular site boosting over 2 million people on the street celebrating and enjoying themselves!
