Blue House Youth Hostel is located in the heart of La Mariscal, the touristic area of Quito. Our building was newly renovated in 2008, and has all the modern conveniences you need while at the same time maintaining its traditional, classic style.
The hostel has spacious common areas and amenities for all our guests to enjoy, including a fireside lounge and bar, cable TV and DVDs, PlayStation, board games and mini pool table.

Directions
If you call us in advance, we can arrange a pickup service for you from the airport.
Or you can take a taxi for about US$5; it will take about 15 minutes (time and price depending on traffic). Just tell the taxi driver our address: Joaquin Pinto E8-24 y Diego de Almagro (La Mariscal).
From the bus terminal, ask for the nearest TROLE BUS station and get off at Colon Station. We are about a 10 minute walk from the station and anyone you ask will be able to give you directions!

BlueHouse Hostel is located in the Mariscal area of Quito, in the proximity of many bars, clubs, restaurants and several touristic attractions. In the hostel you will find a nice bar that you can sit at, a mini pool table and a nice front yard you can chill at.

The computer is not very good for using and also could'nt connect to the Wi-Fi with my Cell Phone and it usually works in your hostels...

I have just recently spent 1 night in a hostel and I would describe it as nice, clean hostel, with friendly staff, hot showers, good lockers, good location. But definiately party hostel. So if you are tired and need good sleep, I would recommend to go somewhere else, as the loud music, cheering people will hardly stop before 2 am.

This hostel was really fun to chill out in. We had a great room with 2 double beds, private bathroom and a surprise balcony!! Loved it. Breakfast was great too. Location couldn't be knocked either will all you could really ask for the price. Great hostel!
