  the hostel has good facilities but a really bad vibe. it was very quiet and there was nothing going on, no parties or anything like the website says. the staff are friendly but lazy, and can't be bothered keeping the place clean. the filthiest showers i have ever seen!! good WIFI connection though, kitchen & a pool. it is cheap for a reason, there are much nicer hostels to stay at in Mendoza.

  Carahue was a great affordable hostel. Although Mendoza was rainy, We enjoyed the pool and thought we were lucky to get a great hostel with such great people. Really nice crowed is hitting this place. Cool vibes and thank you for the wonderful treatment.

  This hostel had amazingly friendly staff who really made you feel at home. The room we stayed in did not have air conditioning and the matresses were very old. The bunk beds were in fact two single beds balanced on top of each other. The breakfast was coffee and bread rolls. This hostel is cheap with very friendly staff but not so clean!

  Was an ok place because it was cheap. The staff were nice and friendly. However, there were two main problems with it. One was that it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. Especially the bathroom and I canŽt really think of another word for it except disgusting. The other main problem with it was lack of lockers in the room, which made security a bit of an issue. To be honest I wouldnŽt recommend this place. I only stayed here because it was the only one which had availability over the Easter weekend and there was probably good reason for that.

  Lockers and bathrooms in all the rooms, good location, decent internet connection and friendly owners. Ask about windsurfing, they can get you a pretty good deal with a local company.

  Convenient location in the heart of downtown Mendoza...walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Liked the bar and outdoor areas, really fun BBQ.
